SNO911 is seeking candidates to fill a part time Administrative Assistant position in our Everett, WA regional communications facility. Snohomish County 911 Emergency Communications is a 9-1-1 police, fire and medical public safety communications center serving Snohomish County which processes emergency and non-emergency calls to over 40 police and fire agencies. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience providing administrative and secretarial support to management and professional staff. SNO911 is an Equal Opportunity Employer.


  • Provide a variety of administrative and secretarial support to the management team and professional staff which requires managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrate individual initiative, integrity and discretion in confidential matters.
  • Maintain absolute attention to detail and sound judgement while executing complex oral and written instructions.
  • Receive and respond to questions regarding public disclosure and process requests for information.


Any combination of education and related experience sufficient to provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities may substitute for education requirements.

  • High School diploma or GED and
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of administrative experience performing varied office support work of a responsible or confidential nature.
  • Knowledge of computer based programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Pro.

Due to the nature of this work, candidates are required to successfully pass a thorough, intense and strict pre-employment background investigation, which includes a polygraph.  Failure to disclose pertinent information or attempt to conceal requested information may be grounds for immediate disqualification.  Recent drug use (including marijuana / THC products), criminal convictions, unprofessional/inappropriate workplace conduct and other factors may also be grounds for immediate disqualification.


  • Starting salary $29.05/hr DOQ
